Pastor Jerry Thompson has been serving in ministry at FCBC for 8 years now, and has a heart devoted to guiding the congregation to a deeper relationship with Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Known for his compassionate spirit and his down-to-earth teaching style, Pastor Jerry blends bible truth with practical wisdom that speaks to everyday life.
Pastor Thompson earned his Bachelor’s in Pastoral Counseling from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary in Newburgh, IN. Under his leadership, the church has grown into a welcoming family that values worship, outreach, and discipleship.
Pastor Thompson believes strongly in family life and enjoys spending time with his wife Jensie, traveling, trying out new foods and just hanging out with the family. He loves to read, is a casual gamer, and believes laughter is one of God’s best gifts.
Dr. Raymond Bentley is the Assistant Pastor and the Director of Christian Education at First Chronicles Baptist Church.
As FC’s Assistant Pastor he serves as the supportive leader and right hand to the Senior Pastor in fulfilling the vision and mission of the Church.
As the Director of Education Dr. Bentley plays a pivotal role in the nurturing the spiritual growth and development of the saints.
