About First Chronicles
It is our goal for you to experience Christ in a fresh new way that causes you to rise to your full potential in God. In addition, you will experience an emphasis on the Word, prayer, fellowship, passionate worship, and personal devotion.
First Chronicles Baptist Church gathers every Sunday at 11AM EST. We also gather in-person every Wednesday for Bible Study at 6PM EST.
Greetings in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. First Chronicles is a community of Believers who gather in Jacksonville, FL and serve the surrounding neighborhoods. We connect and Worship each Sunday morning at 11:00am. Our doors are always open to you regardless where you are in your life journey and you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly and positive Worship experience with people who are genuinely glad to see you. Community is important to us and we want everyone to experience the hope and freedom that comes from a life with Jesus.
We believe everyone is important to Jesus and that Jesus calls his people to make a difference so here at First Chronicles we are committed to encouraging people to discover life’s true treasure in a vibrant relationship with Jesus and his people. We believe Jesus has called Believers to be spiritually fruitful and fulfilled and we seek to aid that journey through exciting and powerful Praise, Worship and Biblical truth.
First Chronicles had its earliest beginnings in 1989, with a mission to provide a sanctuary where individuals and families could come to know Jesus and his power and live a life that would bring Him glory. While the original founder has gone home to glory the church continues in his legacy challenging and providing a channel of service where all people can develop their skills and gifts for Jesus in a loving environment under Pastor Jerry Thompson.
